Thanks everyone. I caped him out. And got the meat in a Heavy duty black trash bag. I so rarely kill I didn’t even bring an ice chest.

Thanks everyone!! About to climb in. It’s raining sideways. Decided to sleep in and Uno had been in twice in the rain since daylight. Maybe we’ll get lucky again. In for the long haul til dark. I’ll update later.

What a beautiful deer. All 3 of us put corn out in the pouring rain yesterday for this deer and she got the full experience on finding him! She was really excited. I’m hoping she’ll remember it as well as I did. Couldn’t be happier for my dude.

Been laying low. Getting my ducks in a row to head way north in a week and hunt north west Oklahoma for 4 to 5 days. Didn’t get to make any trips last year so really looking forward to it. Plan is to leave Tuesday night to get there early Wednesday. Get 3 coverts back online and some corn out then climb in around lunch.

Santa’s wonderland tonight in BCS and lots of honey do’s on the list this next week.

ha thanks… if only this were true on some of the last deer Ive chased. Been whooped and beat way more than I win but it’s been nice to have a good season. I’m kind of glad Corey killed the trespasser buck. I would have to hang it up for a year or two with the bad luck coming my way if I had hat tricked 3 east texas deer with a bow.

I’m way down south in a giant bodark and it’s still shaking in the wind lol. Cameras been down for a month in this pasture. No telling what’s around. Buck hunting tonight. May shoot a doe or two later in the trip. It’s 39 with a 25 mph wind in the face. I’ll update way later

Had to hang my mobile set up in a cedar at lunch. This spot normally needs an east or south. I’m about 60 yards south of our normal stand with the strong NW wind. There is a 4 yr old cull with a long horn type spike in here I really want to get but no telling what else shows. This is my favorite spot on the place to hunt.
