A major key to the game for a&m will be to protect the ball and that includes Johnny. They will have to have their heads in the game big time. Judging by the way that we played Florida and Lsu and the way bama played lsu we have a serious shot at winning the game.
I will be watching for sure |

Death Valley could be heard from Texas it was so loud and LSU put everything out on the line to come out with a win and LSU's QB had the game of his life. None of that intensity was felt at the aggie game. Heck I thought the Florida game was way more intense to be honest |

Tough to pick a win against the #1 team in the country in their house. That being said, A&M has as good a chance as anyone on Bama's schedule.

Bear Bryant said it best," if we practice hard, play hard and give it our all, no one and I mean no one can beat us Aggies!"

The Ags held their own against Fl and LSU...at home. This will be a different beast. I think the Ags can possibly hang tough, and with a few breaks could pull the upset. However, I think it's more likely the Tide does what they do.

We're young and not very deep.....I think we play a great first half and founder to a deeper, faster and more veteran Bama squad. Gig'em Ags!!

Oh, A&M football fan here, but I don't see A&M winning. Not enough depth this year to beat the Tide in Tuscaloosa. That running game for bama is scary

1968 Cotton Bowl Stallings vs. Bryant
http://www.mmbolding.com/bowls/Cotton_1968.htm .....Bryant, who coached Stallings at Texas A&M, then took the young man with him to Alabama as his assistant, lamented over his team's mistakes, but not too long. Rather, he spent his time telling Stallings how proud he was that he could bring Texas A&M out of a four-game losing streak to the Southwest Conference championship, then victory in the Cotton Bowl to run his winning string to seven. Bryant came across the field and carried Stallings around like a football team often does a winning coach. Stallings couldn't help himself- the Bear outweighs him by about 75 pounds. "He sure is strong isn't he?" mused Stallings when Bryant finally let him down. It was a battle in which pupil triumphed over teacher as Gene Stallings, who "Bear" Bryant played at A&M for and helped him coach at Alabama, guided the Aggies to one of the great comebacks in Southwest Conference history. |

Anyone but bama, but I don't think A & M has a chance in this one. Bama is big and fast. Good luck to my new favorite Texas team. SEC all the way.

Going to try to. I have been working out of town for over a month.
You know your way around the campus don't you? Do you know where any of the other GS members will be before the game? Let me know where you will be here or PM me. For anyone else the aerial photo I posted is looking Northwest. University Blvd is on the North side of the stadium and two blocks East is The Quad. This is where most of the people will be prior to the game. Paul Bryant Drive is the fronting streeet on the South side. This is going to be the start of a great series. Paul p.s. Sorority row is immediately to the East of Bryant Denny Stadium ![]() Last edited by 18ncs; 11-08-2012 at 12:02 AM. |

Aggies have had a great year, defied everyones predictions. But Im a Bama fan, born in Birmingham and raised by Tide alumni. If A&M wins I will be a lot less mad than if LSU had pulled it off last weekend. Should be a great game.
I take Bama in this one... Roll Tide! |

Y'all could not have gotten Bama on a better weekend.
Vegas odds say y'all should win one in 5 games played...not bad for playing #1 team on road. And I hope y'all win even though some Aggie fans on this site will drive you crazy with their football/sec talk. ![]() Good luck. |

A&M's kicker needs to get it together ASAP. To win this game there can't be any turnovers for the Ags and especially no missed field goals.

It maybe close for a little while, but BAMA will win. No one makes halftime adjustments like the SEC. Defense rules and until A&M get one they will continue to lose close games.

If the Ags Kicker can hit some much needed easy field goals then the Ags have a chance. 27-24 Aggies.

Its going to be a dang good game! maybe I can catch atleast the second half after I get off the water! But I predict that the aggies are going to surprise bamma and they are going to be caught with their pants on the ground and will be scrambelling like they did against LSU.

I don't think it will be much different than any other Bama home game. Slow start by the tide with a close game at half time. Then they will step up 2nd half and win by 10+.

Vegas has the line holding at 13.5 for Bama. I think that's pretty fair and have no doubt that Saban will have his team mentally ready to take on the Aggies.
So how does A&M go about overcoming that in order to win this game. I think it comes down to A&M's defense getting stops and allowing our offense to get on the field as much as possible. Getting a turn over that our offense turns into a touchdown is a 14 point swing . So I'll say the turnover battle will be the deciding factor in this game. I'm not going to predict the score but if A&M can win the turn over battle I think they can outscore Bama and win the game. |

This makes sense except A&M hasn’t been very good at forcing turnovers this year and only has one in the last four weeks and that was against Miss St., last week. Bama has forced 23 turnovers and lost 8 fumbles versus the Aggies forcing 8 turnovers to their 15 they have given up. If anyone is a ball hog in this game, it's Bama. Bama is also the 2nd best defense in the nation, giving up 229 yards per game. Last edited by Chad C; 11-08-2012 at 11:30 AM. |

^^ in addition to the turn overs they need to get a few good sacks on Mccarron and get some good 3rd down stops.
