What to do with fresh basil

I grow spices in pots. A lot grow almost year round. Wondering what to do with the excess. I have to trim my basil and sage on a regular basis. No need really for drying these as, like said, they are productive almost year round. Make tea? Haven't tried that yet. Any ideas?

Margherita Pizza is a great way to use up a lot of excess basil. Not sure if you’re looking for different dishes you can use it in or other methods. But this is what I’ve done in the ost with basil in the fridge instead of chunking it in the trash. You can use a lot!

We use fresh basil in salads, pastas, pasta salads, soup, etc.

This. Nothing beats fresh pesto on pasta.

We have a bunch too. Back before all our tomato plants burnt up, we had a lot caprese salads with motz, fresh tomatoes and basil, with balsamic and olive oil on top. Anything italian gets some on top, spaghetti, lasagna, etc.

which freezes well. We used ice trays and froze it in cubes, then dumped them all in gallon freezer bags for storage.

Grilled tomatoes. A little olive oil, garlic, mozzarella, and top with fresh basil.

Make a Caprese salad. Super easy and good. Sprinkle just a touch of coarse sea salt over the top. Excellent!
