Little surprised about how to access the battery compartment by removing foam inside the earpiece. Adjusted headset in a quiet room. One side had a slight and very low popping < 5hz. The ears did cleanly amplify low sounds. I am going to have to test directional discrimination outside tomorrow but attack time on the two headsets seems very equal and very short so in turn directional discrimination should be very good. I will have to wait until I come back from vacation in a couple of weeks to try at the range. Initial impressions - electronics seem very good, fit seems excellent, ear muff construction (I do not know whether to call it professional or amateurish but it was much different than I expected). I will update when I get back home and to the range.
