alright boys and girls! i'm going to check out a 1700 acre lease this weekend in Archer County. the lease is about 10 miles west of Archer City off 422 just south of Lake Kickapoo. Any of yall have any intel on that area? it would be greatly appreciated! i've hunted a little farther south in Knox county with good success but I dont know much about Archer County.

Our place is 20 minutes North of that. Our pumper lives at Lake Kickapoo. PM me your cell number the name of the ranch and owners name. I will do some CSI invetigations for you. Our pumper has lived there his whole life and drives around that country everyday. Who would know it better.

I hunted just out of Archer City for a couple of years and liked the area. Our deer were not huge but we had a small tract of land and nobody on every side was on the same management plan. We did have a lot of fun and had sufficient numbers of deer as well as a ton of turkeys and hogs. Good luck.
