Seen lots of ideas for fancy carts to keep the ShopVac and dust collector together and I was just about to start framing one up when I came up with an even simpler and more space saving way to go about it.
I cut a scrap of plywood to fit the bottom of a bucket and located and drilled to match the handle mounting holes on the top of my vacuum. Then cut down the bucket and screwed to to the top of the vacuum, dropped another bucket into the first bucket and hooked it up. I also drilled a few vent holes in the bottom bucket to make it easier to remove the top bucket.
