    Fletching Glue

I bought a bottle of Pine Ridge Archery Instant Arrow Glue last night. I've used the Boehning glue for years, but am looking for something less messy.

Does anyone use this glue? Is it any good?

    What do you use?

    Thanks

Typically use some type of super glue gel. Also the ones that come with a brush are nice

It’s a great glue with exceptional adhesion. A little bit goes a long way. I use six drops on a Blazer vane then run a toothpick down the center to spread it evenly. Clamp for 30 seconds and move to the next arrow.

            Super Glue Ultra Gel

I also use the purple pvc primer on my vanes. Apply it with a qtip. You can’t pull them off. I’ve tried

This is what I use, putting on feather fletchings for trad arrows, using an Arizona EZ Fletch rig. Yes, I get it on my fingers and have to pick it off for a day or two.

I've got a friend that uses finger nail glue to fletch his arrows with, for feathers and vanes. Hasn't had any issues with it so far.

The cleanest fletching glue bottle is AAE. Pine ridge has one of the best all around glued however.

Any more ideas? Wanna buy glue. The gorilla glue with the brush worked well but now it’s extra sticky. Hard to work with. Thx in advance.

Never even thought of that before...might have to try it on these next arrows I’m getting ready to re-fletch.

OP, I’ve been using Goat Tuff or Pine Ridge for awhile now and haven’t had any complaints with either.

I like the brush that Gorilla Glue has, makes for very clean application.

I also noticed that the glue does thicken up and become sticky, but it was also 6 months old, I don’t think any super glue will last that long, it all gets old.
