My boy got it done tonight

My 13 yo son, John Asher, killed his 1st deer tonight. He had missed this particular buck twice with his compound bow so we named him Lucky and JA decided that he had to kill him this season. JA hit Lucky once in the should blade due to the deer jumping the string and got no penetration and the next time he gave his brisket a haircut by over judging the buck dropping. We called an audible and switched to the compound bow to build confidence. After many hours in the mornings and evenings this season Lucky became unlucky. JA double lunged him and he went ~75 yds. I am so proud of this kid sticking with it and being persistent. Way to go son!!!
