Did anyone else sit today and see nothing?. I sat this am and then returned at 1500 and sat till sunset and the only deer I saw was in the parking lot as I was leaving.

My dad and papa showed up today to hunt till Wednesday and my dad saw a spike and a yearling doe. But some dude setup 75 on the trail the deer take to where my papa was sitting so he didn’t see anything. What’s ticks me off is I saw the guy yesterday morning at his camp and stopped to talk to them. They asked where I was huntin so that they wouldn’t interfere with me. So I showed them the exact spots on a map. Well the first thing he does when I leave for lunch is go right to my 2 spots. And he set up right in between them. Said he saw my corn from that morning but he figured it was from several days ago( yeah right corn won’t last overnight out there). So he’s got the spot all screwed up. I hate people like that

Four of us sat last night over a spread of 1.5 miles and between the four of us we saw diddly and squat. Not sure if I want to go out this AM...27 degrees and feels like 19. I hear my bed calling me back.

Sat almost all day yesterday had Spike and doe come in early morning. Then managed to rattle in another small Spike around 8. Nothing the rest of the day.

Turkey Hunting anyone?

Hello everyone, has anyone seen any turkey recently? My buddy and I are planning to drive over this Friday to try our luck with fall turkey.


Also, looking at the public hunting booklet it shows legal means archery and shotguns only with no large than #4 shot.

Is rifle hunting allowed?

Have several turkey that show on camera most days around noon in area 9. Area 9 is petty crowded with hunters and you can only use archery in there. No shotguns in 9. I haven’t seen them but have heard some in 8. Same rules. No shotguns in 8. Also doing some hunting in area 6 far west side of TBR and haven’t seen any here yet.
