Best interest on money?

What and where are the best rates you know of right now? short term 6 month , 1, or 2 years.

Someone posted yesterday a place that gives 2.5% for 13 month CD.

My buddy at State Farm can give you 2.25 in a money market account or something like that. We just did it. He’s a member here on the forum

Marcus Savings by Goldman Sachs pays 2.25% and it's simple to set up and move money back and forth between your checking and savings. It also adjusts regularly if rates go up (or down).

Origin bank is paying 4% on up to $40k in a checking acct. They’re by far best I’ve seen and they have been great to work with

I second the goldman account. best rate your going to find on a saving account with no minimums and fees.

It pains to say it but 2.25% in a mm account where funds are not tied up is looking good.

Check out American Express high yield savings. Pays a rate somewhat comparable to a CD without most of the restrictions.

I have been getting one year and 13 month CD's that pay 2.35-2.45% through Merrill Lynch. Some pay monthly.

Ally savings account at 2.2%. Free to move money whenever you wish. (I think there may be a maximum times per month, but I have never come close to it)
