Was a grind for me Tues morning in east galv. Mostly wanted to look around blacks since rollover closed, been fishing Sabine and Trinity a lot and hadn't been to EB in a long time. Found some 17"-19" fish, only kept 3, probably caught 10. BIG school of jacks about 300 yards north of stingaree under birds. Trout were in about waist deep water on hard sand bottom. Also had a big gar give me a pretty good tug trying to get a fish off my stringer. All fish were caught on red/white soft plastics.

We had an awesome trip with Capt. Glenn. Weather hasnít been perfect, but it didnít rain on us and thatís about all you can ask for these days. Fishing was pretty good, slower than you hope for but enough action to keep you busy. My girl always has a blast with Mr. Glenn. His new boat is sweet too.

My twin brother and 3 of our boys had a great trip Saturday morning in POC. We released all but 6 of these fish for lunch. We probably released another 20 once I thought the bag was getting crowded.

I missed a shot at a tarpon in the bay that I saw working bait for over half an hour. He finally swam close enough to make a cast. He came in hot and rolled on the top water. Never came tight and he swam away.

I was planning to keep them for a family fish fry that evening but decided against it because the family wanted to fish the surf Saturday evening instead. Kept a few for lunch and decided last minute to release. They were extremely lively when released. I am not concerned at all with their health in this instance.

Not near as rough on them as having to throw back a dink when there is a dolphin around! haha.

Never fished rockport but definitely had a dolphin swim through my legs in poc. That dorsal fin grazing your @ss crack will get you moving!

Not sure what to expect this coming weekend besides the wind switching to north east best I can tell.

Not sure what the little disturbance is going to do.

We had a great trip to Matagorda this AM. It was a grind ,but about 10 got on a few fish. Up to that point we had 1 fish in the boat. Most caught on live skrimps drifting.

Nice job FVR!

We went out Friday morning but the wind chased us off by 11. Plus they didn’t have shrimp when we got there that morning. Managed a couple upper slot reds on gulp.
