Just caught up sitting in meetings in Tucson. Yes, I also take vials of seasoning on my rougher adventures....lol.

Got stuck with the customs officers for a while. The one helping me called 3 other guys over. They all wanted to talk hunting and see what bows I brought. Long discussion about hunting polar bears and how much that means to the northern communities. Cool guys and experience. And, they think the US government is idiotic on the importation bans.

Good luck Doc. I have a friend that did this hunt about 5 years ago with a bow. I recall his stories were amazing. I think it was -40 the day he made his kill.

He never got his bear back.

Doc, have you ever tried the apple airtags to help keep track of your gear? Doesn’t keep it from getting left behind but at least you can tell the wonderful people with the airlines where they lost it.

No, I joke about it often but I have truly been lucky with my bags and case for as much as I have travelled. Not a bad idea though.

I have AirTags on all my luggage. It’s a great feeling to land and see your bags are in the same place!

My best friends dad brought back one of the last Polar Bears into the US. Amazing animal up close.

25 degrees and freezing fog here in Ottawa. On the plane for the first leg of travel to Resolute Bay. Was talking to Doug, the other hunter, and this is the warmest temps we will see until we get back!!!!
