Thanks for the kind words. The rattle is loud enough, I was worried it wouldn't be. The next one will be a rounder more traditional topwater. It's that time of year to throw them a lot.

This evening I made an improved rattle and standardized the size. It's 9/32'' brass tube from Ace Hardware and 1/4'' Daisy sling shot balls. I cut the tube 1'' long and glued a ball in each end with one in the middle to knock against the ends. It's nice and loud. I've already started on the next one and have it inside it.

This will be a rounder topwater. I also moved the rattle higher and in the center so it won't be in the way of the weights.

Thanks fellas. I got the round one done this weekend. I went with the old Black and Yellow, a gulf coast favorite. It should get tore up quickly.
