Default Meateater Cookbook

One of my employees just bought me Steve Rinella’s Meateater cookbook. Have you tried any of his recipes and were you pleasantly surprised by any of them?

I’ve tried a couple with my own variations. Not bad at all

My son cooked the duck ravioli and it was surprisingly good.

Each recipe from that book that I have made has been rated excellent by my wife. Just make sure you have plenty of time set aside to make the food.

Stuffed meatloaf is pretty good. Most of his recipes seem good but I usually leave out/add some ingredients to suit my particular taste.

Got his book for Christmas year before last. I tried the venison ribs recipe. Turned out great.

I have all of his cookbooks and really like them. I often tweek some recipes, but it’s really helped me get outside the box with wild game.
My absolute favorite is the Carpaccio w/ the Gremolata. It’s fantastic.
