Buffet table never seen so many people scratching their butt and picking their noses than anywhere. I went on the same cruise and watched people never again. Find the burger, pizza and burrito place and a couple sit down restaurants. I hated it will never take another cruise as you will be on the boat 90% of the time. The stops on the way are not long and it’s hard to do things in a short amount of time. Next time I will just fly to the Bahamas and stay a few days. That’s just my 2 cents.

Y’all will enjoy it if it’s your first. They’re fun and I think everyone should go on at least 1. I think we have been on 3. And now I will refer back to Grant2s post because it is very accurate.

Bring stretchy pants if you're an eater.

I know one person who on the last day could not fit into the same outfit they showed up wearing on day one . Blamed it on the over sugary drinks .

Sit down restaurants for the better food and less cattle trough feeling.

Bring a wad of $5's and $1's to tip waiters and bartenders. Same with the room cleaning staff, leave some cash on the bed for them when you leave during cleanup time. A little green goes a long way for better service.

The pool is like a human soup bowl, small space with a lot of people. We enjoyed the piano bar and comedy shows. If you do an excursion that’s not done through the cruise they will leave with out you if your late.

I cant speak for carnival, but ive been on 3 RC cruises.. go the main dining room, every night. its included and the food is phenomenal AND all you can eat. get appetizers, main courses, desserts, coffee after.. all of it. on lobster night, i ate half my ticket price in lobster.

I love cruises on the Carnival. The food is awesome in the dining area, the waiters are extremely friendly, the cabins are small but very nice, casinos are fantastic, entertainment on board is fabulous, and different things going on. Then, the excursions are wonderful as well and you get to visit different countries.
We took a cruise out of Galveston, the same your taking to Freeport, Nassau, and Key West, for our honeymoon (first cruise ever for both of us), left on Sunday and on Tuesday, I booked a cruise for our first anniversary. We took a cruise every summer until Covid when the boats were shut down.

There are people that wear bathing suits that shouldn’t and really don’t care. You’ll see.

…or as my husband is fond of saying, “Spandex is a privilege, not a right.”

Don’t let the fudds discourage you. They sound like they couldn’t have a good time if it slapped them in the face.

I’ve only been on one cruise and it was an Alaskan cruise with Princess cruise lines and it was fantastic.

I will say when we do another one it won’t be with Carnival. They are like the Walmart of cruise lines.
