Went to my place outside Weimar this morning. Haven't been seeing any shooter bucks on camera all year and only about 3 does. Had the scrub buck brigade come in early. Wind was a bit wrong and they were spooky. Little while later had 6 does and a fawn come in. Was gonna hold off but figured it was time to get some fresh groceries. 
Drew back and one of the many sets of ears heard me. They got real skittish and went to either side of my Krivo. Held the draw for what felt like forever until the last one in line stopped at about 25 yds, which is my personal limit. Hit her more forward than I would have liked, (center punched the other shoulder) but the stinger did it's job, left a great blood trail, and she didn't go 50 yds. Heart was racing like I just shot a trophy buck haha. Can't beat bowhunting
