Calculate the maximum number of circles within a rectangle - can be used to calculate the numbers of pipes or wires in a conduit or similar.

          Looks like three

Not exact math, but I don't think there is going to be a way to get more than 3?

The plywood is 96 inches across. Given the diameter of 30, you will only get three in a row across. Then with it only 48 inches tall there isn't much room for a lower row either. I tried to draw it out and see if there was a way to stagger them to get more than a single row (e.g. 2 on top row, 2 more below, etc.) but doesn't look like it.

                        Shade over 29"

Cut it down to 29" and get 4.

You can get 4 if you cut 2 half circles and join them together. Lol

3 on one side, 3 on the other
