Had a super fun time making this knife for a friend who owns a local bee farm, Hepplewhite Farms. He wanted a knife made that would look like something he'd use checking hives. I thought this was a good fit for him and used some mosaic pins that resemble a hive shape as well. The brown diagonal spacer is the edge on micarta and added a small vine pattern for extra thumb or finger control "with looks". Did a little two toned dye job on the sheath for something new to spice things up and really enjoyed how it turned out just lightly dying the outer edge with dark brown over predyed leather.
The honey is amazing - there seems to be a big difference between processed honey and natural honey with no preservatives....suppose that's true with most things too.
