It's 2nd focal plane and would also be my recommendation as well for your situation.

Any particular reason you recommend 2nd over 1st. I’ve been using 1st for a long time.

I actually meant the VX-5HD is what I was recommending.
I don't have enough experience with FFP scopes to give advice.
I've always used and just prefer SFP.

Get a Swarovski Z5 with the ballistic turret. You can set up the factory turret or can order a custom one for your load. Z5 only allow for one rotation, but it should get you to 600 pretty easy. They are great light weight scopes.

Best scope I have found is Trijicon Accupoint. Beats other scopes with much higher price tags.
