Sweet, I like the squares off look, that should help them from bulging in the center of the contact patch.

Turning them suckers on the front without power steering might be interesting. They do sell bolt on Power steering kits if that becomes a thing , different more crowned profile tires in the front might be something to consider as well.

They make the same tire in the more narrow width for the front. Just gonna go with those.

Brace is cut…. Little grinding work and she will be ready to weld in place.

Old fairlead removed and old rope removed and winch checked and cleaned.

More to add to the welding stack for hopefully this weekend:

Turning them isn't bad. The ones we ran in the marsh had 6 vampires on them. They do need a country mile due to length but not an issue. Even with 5 or 6 guys on it.

Brass, maybe get lucky and find a metal bed? The earlier ones came with metal

                      She’s strong now.

Replaced the missing dump bed catch:

Custom recycled 1 7/8” ball hitch with pull ring for my quad-trailer.

A full 2" receiver hitch? nice.

Bed frame is primed with rust inhibitor.

                            Receiver hitch is painted!

Crack is welded and stiffener is in place and primed:

                            Steps primed with rust inhibitor.

What made you want to go the 6 wheel route ? I have a buddy with a 6 wheel ranger .

Looks good- on the Rust Inhibitor - Are you using the spray can stuff or the brush on?
