    Online poker

Years and years ago (like 18-20) I was posting on TBH how certain I was that online poker was rigged. I played lots in live games and then got into the online poker. I remember the same old.. Can't be rigged or they'd be shut down, too much money to lose etc. Then the bomb hit a little over a year later that it was all rigged. So I believe there were only 2-3 States that allowed online poker after that happened and they were regulated.

Fast forward to present time. I wanted to see if anything has changed so I tried finding a legit (or most likely to be legit) online poker site. It's still illegal in 45 States for a company in the US to run online poker games.. But not illegal for players to play online poker through companies outside the US. But obviously the US doesn't regulate so it's play at your own risk.

So I figured I'd throw in 1 litecoin ($96) and see whats all changed using Ignitioncasino.eu

1st off I read what I could find. Of course everything says it's 100% legit, Cash outs are easy/quick, and they have action plans to stop any cheating.

So I play small stakes .25/.50 blinds. And low and behold it was like deja vu. Ran $25 up to $100 in 20 minutes. I got more great hands in 30 minutes than I did playing live poker for 15 hours last weekend in Austin. This was exactly how Pokerstars(and others) hooked players 19-20 years ago. Then I started getting beat but not because I made bad calls... I'd have the winning hand and others would win on the river. But they let you hit lots of A high flushes, straights etc..

I wasn't really doing this for money. It's almost fun to play knowing great hands will hit every other hand or so and to sort of see how their software works.
I really am kind of surprised there are no legit online poker games with out software cheating. BTW - I can't see them cheating for themselves but more cheating just getting people hooked and then betting more as they make money off rakes.

Anyway - Long post just to say if you ever try online poker you better beware and don't put in much money.

And I just read some of this.
Answer (1 of 12): Online poker is rigged to 100%. I play since around 30 years online poker and I studied how rigged the sites are to take a possible advantage. They rigged the software with a mathematic calculation in the algorythm. It’s everything already programmed but it’s never random. The h...

10th post down someone actually wrote a book on this LOL.

My biggest problem with online poker back in the day was it was impossible to cash out. We played a ton in college, won a lot of money for a young 20s guy. It always took weeks to get your money out, if they would even cash you out. I lost a lot of money when it all Shut down in 2011. Have not played online since.

I enjoyed my years at the table. I was the crazy guy that no one could figure out. For now I am out. Retirement is coming - may join the table again...

LOL Just played for about 40 minutes (two tables) I got 3 or 4 full houses. Pocket Q's 3 times (lost 2) 2 flushes (lost 1) and 2 straights (lost both). Had AJ and flop was AJ2 rainbow and lost that also.

It's so rigged it's kind of fun playing. Just have to fold incredible hands since you know they give everyone crazy good hands. Ended up $10

if im not mistaken, $10 in 40 minutes, on two tables of .25-.50 comes out to around 13 bb's per hour. that is an expert level win rate.

aka not rigged. not against you at least.

really hard to tell per hour... most winrate is done online as BB/100 hands.

Riverrat if you want to play non raked online games DM me. I've been playing off and on since the pandemic and know the software and people are good.

Of course when you play a ton of hands you see some really crazy things.

I never said it was rigged in one direction. It's my guess they just deal random hole cards but rig the flop so a high number of flops connect.

Go make a quick account at Ignition casino. Put in just $100 You'll see pretty quick the people writing on the link in post 1 on Quora know what they're talking about. It's actually sort of fun to always get good hands....at least once you realize others will often have better highly unlikely hands many many times.

I'll update after I play some more.. But it's always the same and NEVER like when I play live.

I've seen some really sick stuff online, but dispersion of hands is being tracked by people's logging programs and players are running million+ hand checks to see card dispersal. Bad sites have no way to hide from that, and the cardrooms and players that have been caught have fallen to those programs.
