Places to Eat Dripping Springs

I will be in Dripping Springs this weekend for a baseball tournament and looking for good places to eat. Suggestions?

Salt lick ... is our favorite place when we go there .. food and atmosphere is pretty awesome

Hays City Store, a little drive but well worth it.

Not alot of choices. Hays City Store is one of the best bar and grills in Texas but its not in Dripping Springs. Hill Country Pizzeria is good. Back towards Austin there is a Stiles Switch BBQ. Salt Lick is a bit of a drive as well. Average at best.

Assuming you have a crew of kiddos there -

RR12 Filling Station is a definite win.

Homespun right there in town is great as well.

Little-known, less cared about, but top notch - Carmela's at the corner of 12 and Hamilton Pool is a great Italian/Pizzeria spot to get something to go.

For good outdoor relax - hit up 12 Fox Brewery. Snag some quality brew outside and get some grub from the food trucks on site.

I’ll second 12 Fox Brewery. My people own it so I’m a little biased but they do have great grub and very kid friendly. I’m not big on that kind of beer but everyone seems to like it.

Road runners have a good burger, outdoor seating, bar, kids menu. Place for kids to roam. Just south of town by the YMCA. Can be a bit slow on a busy night.

If you don’t mind a 20ish minute drive and getting there early, then Valentinas has an excellent breakfast on Manchaca.
