Currently a carter wise guy with a ultraview knob. I liked the video, made me want to go back to a hinge. You said in the video you don’t hunt with a hinge, any particular reason you don’t?

Because I can punch a thumb button better than I can dump a hinge lol. and letís be honest sometimes you donít have time to make a perfect shot in a hunting situation

Tru-Ball short and sweet. I’ll never shoot a caliper style release again!

I agree. That was one of the main reasons I got away from them, being able to pull back with your whole hand instead of your thumb and index finger is nice as well

I think I have shot most of them! Havenít shot an index finger release in a long time! Got way too punchy. Have a pile of Carterís but found a lot of my weird paper tears were from a bulky release and how I put a bunch of side pressure on the string to work the release. Got it figured out and have been on a Stan kick!

My everyday release is a Carter Big Kid (now the Target 4). It's worked for years. It's my primary, and the one I hunt with.

I have a Scott Longhorn that I use for indoor

I also have a Scott wrist release, I forget the model, my buddy's been using it for years. Oh, and a TruBall wrist release.

I keep a TruFire Edge in my backpack, in case I drop the Carter from a tree stand, or I forget it. It's my emergency backup.

Love my stanislawski just x. Only wish they still made them. I have bought three, just in case I lose one. I have tried a lot of others, but they just feel “ right”.

Spot Hogg Wise Guy for hunting and Spot Hogg Whipper Snapper for 3D. Borrowed a buddies 2 finger hinge a while back and it scared the hell out of me at first, but after a while I really started to like it. May have to give this one a whirl.

They stopped making them years ago. Really hard to find them. I just found the red one on AT recently for a back up. Need to get the little black thumb shoe for it. If anyone has one they dont use I would like a third one

Cobra wrist and a Tru ball thumb release.
When Iím concentrating, Iím really good with the Tru ball. But my consistency varies too easily with the Tru ball, so I just stick with my forgiving cobra wrist release.
