Well done fireMedic! And way to go AP.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kilt. Gotta go!

My second vacation for this season starts this evening (Thanks Giving week was #1 where I spent the week working on the house, ect.) . And don't have to be back at work till Jan 6th, Yeah! . Now, if I only didn't have to work on the projects I've got going on around here....

Oh well. Maybe one day I'll get caught up, some day.

Go chase those ducks TG! The chores will always be there but our ability to be outdoors won't.

Finishing up the boat is one of the things in line. Got to pull some wires to keep them from burning. Then fill a couple of holes in the transom from the transducers with weld. Then weld on the pods. Then re-install the transducers. Then rewire bilge, lights, onboard charger, ect, in the aft area.

But got several things to do before working on the boat that are much more important.

Those things count as chasing ducks. Half my enjoyment is putting things in place to make hunting better. Good luck on the real chores.

Back out here at the w lake, after hunting somewhere else last 3 weeks. Atleast it gave my spot a break. Hope something shows and gives me a chance to break in my new bow!

TG hope you get things taken care of and enjoy your time off.

Anybody plan on being in the walk-in few hundred yards south of Plowman Creek (Raymond Creek) tomorrow am? Looking to be on the East side of 56 toward the lake.

Thinking of seeing if there are any dove in the area, didn't want to interrupt a deer hunter.

Razor, did you get out and walk around to kick some up? That has always been my most productive way for the late season.

In the walking that I did, none kicked up. Usually I can see some land and go to them, not yesterday.

Well I guess the weather last night keep them bedded down as I was hoping. They moved about 8:30 and I had a doe spot me with all the leaves gone and turn and head back the way she came from. Then all of a sudden she takes off full speed. Out of nowhere another doe I didnít see with her pops out 30 yds in front of me. I heard the thump and she took off stumbling hard. Last place I seen her is where I found her. So I have meat in the freezer finally. Got to break in my new bow. It all happened pretty fast.

Thanks. It wasn’t bad cold like last Sunday but I was layered for it. Got her quartered and on ice. Probably should have went to the house and processed her, but going to hunt evening hunt and see if i can catch this big pig slipping.
