Default Venison tamales!

Made some venison tamales from my buck I shot a few weeks ago. Slow cooked the roast all night last night barbacoa style, then with help from the wifey we did tamales from scratch today, turned out great!!

I think it looks horrible and can’t believe you would even attempt to eat those-since I am such a nice guy I will come get them all and dispose of them for you!

That should be illegal...

Thanks all. They turned out very good, especially for our first time making tamales. I used recipes out of the game cook book ď buck buck mooseĒ.

Always wanted to learn to make my own. Everyone I've ever talked to that makes them complains about how long the process is. Minus cooking the roast, how long would you say it took?

Um probably 3-4 hours or so minus the roast. We learned a few things that will probably speed it up a little bit next time. Wasnít bad at all.
