Incredible how fast the hunting season goes by. When it starts in October it seems we have plenty of hunting days but with work and other things that happen without warning it just flies by. I had some opportunities to hunt but can't believe its over. I still thank god for the trips with my son and dad. On to preparing for 2020.

Yep, it goes fast. Holidays, etc. We had another terrible season deer wise. But, my daughter got her first deer, a doe. So, it made it all worth it.

February is the most depressing month of the year. Short days, nasty weather, no deer season, football, or really anything good. Bring on March and fishing weather.

Didn’t shoot any deer at my SOT due to low numbers. Hogs are just starting to make their way back so hopefully I’ll stick one with my bow soon.

Lease managers always stop us a month early. East Texas. Both are some of the reasons I'm getting off.

The deer were tough. Shouldn't have passed the doe early and never saw a buck I felt compelled to shoot. One doe and a couple pigs is not my best season but not my worst either.
Bring on the pigs and an exotic meat hunt.
