    BINO Mod

    Anyone know what this is?

If you do, let me tell ya - It works darn good out to several hundred yards, and is very easy to operate.

Thought I would share, because it's real easy to do. The laser is just mounted with velcro, so I won't drop it, and if it isn't pointing just right, it is very quick & easy to get it right simply by shifting it a little with my fingers all while scoping.

Works so well, I am going to order another laser, and mount it to a rifle scope for some night time pig eradication. Of course, it will have to be solid mounted on the scope, and adjusted to point correctly, but that's no step for a stepper.

You are going to have to educate me a bit. What is the purpose of mounting a laser to a pair of binoculars? I could see the point if you mounted a pistol under the binoculars!

It's not a sight. It's for night vision, and works great for it.

                  Didn’t find much on google.
Can anyone explain how this helps with night vision?

From what I can tell it’s a laser pointer on a standard set of Binos. If it’s for target acquisition how does it help with night vision? I’m genuinely curios

I believe, with the diff filters, it illuminates the area down range and you can pick it up in your bino’s.

Cheap lasers diffuse and act like flashlights down range is what I am assuming here.

It isn't night vision... it is spotlighting...

Personally, I like full moon hunts with a bow.
