Wide clyde died
I grew a buck the was really wide
With sweeping beams 2ft inside. A dream deer bonafide, I named him Wide Clyde. With daylight pics I soon decide That in this stand I would abide Until Wide Clyde Died. I saw big bucks and let them slide. I knew I'd not be satisfied Until Wide Clyde Died. He disappeared, he tried to hide. He might be dead? I almost cried. Had Wide Clyde Died? A fresh norther turned the tide. A massive buck I soon spied. Through the brush unidentified. Was it Wide Clyde? He rushed the pen and jumped inside. His chocolate rack seemed magnified. My pictured buck personified. It was Wide Clyde! He took a while to turn broadside. I watched the bolt pierce his hide. He dashed away at a racing glide. Had Wide Clyde Died? I wait in the stand till the shakes subside. Could I have missed? Was I denied? A bloody arrow verified, I think Wide Clyde Died. I look to my right, I'm wide-eyed. He made a short dash and died in stride. Ol Clyde looks really WIDE! I load him up with a tag tied. I text my nephew, sucess implied. He asked what's up and I replied... WIDE. CLYDE. DIED!
