Duck mounts

Got some duck mounts back yesterday from Lowell Shapley. He was on his way to Wyoming, so he was able to drop them off in Abilene. Great guy. Heck of a taxidermist.

Man those ducks look great! Lowell is a great taxidermist (After seeing your Can..Wish I would have let him do mine!). Congrats

Lowell does amazing work for sure. His "Best In World" pheasant rooster fight mount a few years ago is probably the best taxidermy mount I've ever seen.

Of these duck mounts, my favorite is the wigeon. It was a 2nd to last weekend of the season drake last year, so really colorfully plumed. And I just love the pose and mount Lowell did.

He did this dead mount for me a few years back after a trip to Alaska

That's a cool mount. A lot of dead mount ducks don't look like they're hanging naturally. He really nailed that one.
