Like the title says. I have a 10 year old female Australian Shepherd who will occasionally pee on the couch or our bed and I'm not sure what to do about it. A few months after we got a new mattress she pee'd on the side where my wife sleeps. We got a new couch and she pee'd in the spot where my wife usually sits.
I am her favorite, followed by the kids, with the wife dragging up the rear. Not sure if that has something to do with it.
Any way to get them to stop doing this other than locking them up all the time? She doesn't have any issues controlling herself so that's not it. It seems more like a territory thing.
Humping is out of the question since she is already peeing.
