Here’s my “man bun” 6.5 SAUM. I really don’t care what people think. I had a 6.5CM when the only place you could get ammo for it was online. My smith never even heard of the caliber before I went by. Was the 308 the original man bun? Get what makes you happy and is proven.

The 6.5 PRC seems to be a good round, the 6.5 Creedmoor is a good round, the 6.5X47 Lapua is a good round. The Creedmoor some like to call man bun, is just a 308 necked down to 6.5, with a good shoulder angle, unlike the 243 and 260 Rem. I have a Creedmoor, but would not mind having a PRC and a 6.5X47 Lapua and a 6.5 Grendel, a 6.5-300 would also be great.
