Why are so many people accidentally putting DEF in their pickup fuel tanks?

Put deisel in my samurai from a beat up ol unmarked pump. Smoked like a sumbeech too! Drug it home, drained and flushed the tank. Fired her back up. Soon as the sputtering quit and the smoke cleared that sucker ran better than ever!!

My FIL did this to his F250. Luckily never started it and only cost him around 1000 to have the dealer clean the tank. He had his head in his *** but he won’t do it again.

I only use DEF out of the jugs, might cost more per gallon but less than a new engine.

One of the cartel guys that kidnapped me filled my truck up after he washed it. He put DEF in my tank. I was trying to tell him, but the tape over my mouth and the kick to the stomach wouldn't allow me. Nice guy though.

That's one of the reasons I always delete.....

Solves that problem real quick and saves money.

If my diesel trucks were new enough to have DEF systems, they wouldn't have DEF systems for long. Delete that BS.
