    Crabgrass PSA

Here are 3 pretty good videos about how to identify and kill crabgrass with the proper herbicide application. Lots of people have poor results trying to kill crabgrass, but it may be because it is actually not crabgrass, or they applied the herbicide incorrectly. It is better to try and kill it now when it is just appearing instead of waiting till it is fully mature. I have some for the first time in years and ordered some Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide and Methylated Seed Oil (surfactant) to apply in the next few days. Hope this helps.

I put out pre-emergent twice a year too, but I still had some wash in from my neighbor`s lawn. I`m going to start spraying my pre-emergent (Prodiamine) this fall instead of granular. It`s cheaper and supposed to get better results.

Be sure and always read and follow directions on all herbicides before applying. You are 100% correct. My lawn is Hybrid Bermuda.

If you mix some liquid iron in with it, you won’t see any burn at all on your Bermuda. I’ve used up to 1 1/2 quarts per acre of Drive 75 with great results on Celebration.
