    Question Texoma Lake

If I have a valid non resident annual fishing license for Okla and a valid resident Texas fishing license do I still need to purchase a Texoma license?

    You should be good.

Here you go.....a quick google. I'd have figured you'd be OK but this states otherwise

Looking to book a striper fishing trip on Lake Texoma? Make sure to get your Lake Texoma fishing license prior to your fishing trip. Call now!

Well this here states differently. ....so who knows. I always just bought it because I knew I didn't have the OK one.

We have been getting a lot of questions about fishing requirements on Lake Texoma, and decided to answer the question once and for all: Do you need an Oklahoma or Texas license to fish Lake Texoma?  Yes,...

Last year I called OK fish and game and asked the same question. They said with the NR fishing and TX super combo I was good for the whole lake.

Online I have found multiple answers.... I went Striper fishing earlier this year and already had both Texas and Oklahoma licensees like you. I read the same website that Smart referenced and also bought a Texoma license. The guides and all my buddies made fun of me saying I didn't need it so I'm not sure what the right answer is......

You are licensed to fish the whole sucker.

That is why I brought up the question as I was reading the same site as Smart and got all confused. I feel that Dale Moser is probably right since it splits OK and TX and having one in both state should cover you. Thanks all.

It’s been a while since I fished Texoma but there is a special Texoma license that’s needed if I remember correctly.

I would call TPWD for confirmation.

You are good to go and covered for anywhere on the lake. The first link Smart posted is completely false.

Yep I spoke with Okla Wildlife Dept they agreed that if you have a non resident Ok and a Resident TX or visa versa you are good to go on the whole lake without a Texoma license. Thanks everyone.
