North Austin/Round Rock Energy Providers??

Afternoon!

My daughter will be moving into an apartment in Round Rock to attend A&M nursing school at the end of July. The apartment complex told her that she will need to choose a provider for the apartment. Been looking into the different providers for the area online, comparing rates, etc.

We have always stayed with the local provider here at our house so I have no experience one way or the other with other electricity providers.

I am a little skeptical after hearing (seeing on the news) the nightmares after the recent Winter Storms in Texas with some of these electricity providers.

Any of you in the area had to choose your own provider? Have any experience, positive or negative about specific electricity providers?

I always used TXU here in Round Rock then at the recommendation of the green screen I signed up with energy ogre. They find you the cheapest and sign you up, when your contract is up they look around for cheapest. I now have Powernext
