When I’m camping in the elements, any coffee is better than no coffee.

    Another vote for Nescafé.

I tried Starbucks. It did not care for the taste. It tasted "artificial".
      I like Cafe Bustelo Instant.

When I was backpacking I used Maxwell House filter packs. Toss in a pot of boiling water and makes reasonably decent coffee for a couple of people. Step on the filter to squeeze out the water and throw in the trash ziplock. Easy, relatively light but probably not "coffee snob" level

Nescafe Taster's Choice Instant Coffee Columbian... Not sure it is the best, but it is what I carry.

My brother was in Moscow for 2 years and they found an instant coffee that was actually pretty dang good. I will try to find it and if it is availible in the US.

Don Pedro, and Nescafe, Bustelo Instant are the 2 best, and originale,
without going to these new age coffee drinker ones

Tchibo was the brand that I had that was very good. You can get it on Amazon.

Black Rifle Coffee Company is supposed to have good instant coffee.

Black Rifle Coffee Company is a SOF veteran-owned coffee company, serving premium coffee and culture to people who love America.

Also a much better company that Starbucks or others.

Agree with this, I like supporting Veteran owned companies. Wish they sold it at HEB.

Why not take ground beans and some pour over filters and have the real thing?

You have to heat water either way. Adds a couple minutes tops. Well worth it IMHO, makes a great cup of coffee. Jetboil makes a french press as well.
