Good rains in southern Wyoming and scattered about in northern Colorado.
Saw some willows with yellow leaves last Sunday driving over the Snowy Range.

I did my leg workout this morning.
50 trips up and down the bleachers with a 50# pack!
I’ll do some mileage on flat ground on Friday.
Feeling great and ready to go!!

About to get a quick workout in before I head to the office. It's getting close. This weekend I'll be cooking and freezing food for the trip and getting things together and in an enormous pile by the front door. The little wifey always loves that!!

Took my boots for another 4 mile stroll just to be sure. They've been broken in for a couple years now, so I wasn't too worried. Wasn't until I walked back in the house when I realized I wore them for 2 weeks this past winter because of the cold and the ice storms we got.

Feet are ready! (and from what I have read, heard, and been told, your feet are your #1 concern.)

Hope you have those hip flexors in shape, crossing deadfall for hours takes a toll on those flexors.

I got all my hunting clothes out last night. Tomorrow I’ll wash them and get them packed, then get all my cooking done and freeze our food. It’s getting close!!

Like I told y’all the other day... I’m bout to the cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs stage on going on this trip with my brothers! Actually us killing something, anything, will just be a bonus!
