Good idea. You probably know this, but ryobi tools makes some really bright lights, along with some fans and other items that all run off of a cigarette lighter, or their batteries. I use their power tools for the simple fact that they make so many other items that all run off of the same battery style. I buy batteries on black friday and get 2 for the price of one.

Awesome! Let's see the set up inside when you get time. Will you leave it there set up, or take it down, pack it up, and haul it home every trip?

Turned out really nice ! Throw a big tarp over the tent and let it overhang on the side for an awning.

Good luck on your hunt.

Worked great for a week in west Texas. Trailer is solid with the front jack down and still hooked to the truck. Was in the 20ís at night and we slept in shorts with a small electric heater running off of the generator. Love it!

That looks like a great set up. Not sure what you are doing for showers but a 10 by 10 EZ Up with a couple tarps for side cover and a few 5 gallon shower bags work great.

I've always thought the Jumping Jack Trailers were genius. You've done it yourself. That's awesome.

We thought about one of those, but wanted more room for week long stays.

Just saw this, very cool idea and now has me thinking. I was going to do a cargo conversion, but may invest in a deck over trailer instead. I would have more uses fo a deck over.

Exactly my thoughts. Can use the trailer when needed as regular and spike camp a few weeks per year.
