Entry Thread for November "Photo of the Month"

Just found out I won last months and I am on the road for work so a few days late.

Let's stick with November's theme of "Thankful". Really opens the door to a wide array of anything you are thankful for from family, friends, home, the ranch/lease, to pets. Anything that made you pause and in the moment and really take it all in.

This is the contest ENTRY thread. Post up your best photo

    Remember......
    * Only ONE submission per person.
    * Photo must be taken during the month of October.
    * Deadline for entries is midnight, November 30th.

Ill play. Thankful for a lot of things that contributed to making this happen. Yes I took the picture myself with the self timer and running back and forth to my camera to check the results. 5th time's a charm is a thing right?? Anyway here it is.

I am thankful for this dirty nosed Bulldog. He's 11yrs old and has been with me for the past 10yrs when I rescued him out of a bad situation. I got him right after my Dad passed away and he's helped me through some very dark times in my life. He's traveled all over the U.S. with me and followed me all day long, rain or shine, step for step at many 2 day shooting matches all over the country. I'll truly be lost without him when his time comes. He'd give his life for mine and I'd do the same.

This pic was taken in the deer blind where he has spent many hours with me.
