Bobcat in mesquite tree

Saw this cat last weekend in the top of a mesquite tree while driving to the stand. Not sure what he was doing up there but fortunately he stayed around long enough for me to take a few pictures.
I still Have a lot to learn with the new 70d but so far I am loving it. Feel free to critique as I am still a beginner.
