This is my first shot at filming a hunt. I left the Sony at home so I used my phone. This was the first harvest out of my new box blind setup at Hilltop Lakes.
This hog came in with two others just before first light. I slowly lowered a red light on them so I could see to shoot but it spooked them. I listened to them and watched their siloetts as they darted in/out for about 30 minutes. This one came in right at daybreak and started eating. I had just enough light to see and to record so I took the 17 yard shot with my crossbow. I aimed for his eye but missed the mark by 1/2". He should eat real fine.
Oh, and the best part, it was only 75* outside after I had him on ice!
