I ran down a pup on foot a few years ago at the lease. The female had two pups w/ her and they could not run very fast in the high grass. she set at the end of the field and cried for him. I have never heard a cry like that from a yote ever. Broke my heart and I turned that little fawn killer loose. I did win $20 from my dad who said I was too fat and slow to catch that pup though.
