Anyone know of anywhere near Angelo that sells cotton seed by the bulk?

Any gin in the area. But beware due to the poor crop and poor rain, a lot is already sold to feedlots.

Try Mereta, Miles or Rowena gins

Anyone know of anywhere near Angelo that sells cotton seed by the bulk?

Mereta is at $300/ton if you’re picking up yourself should be the same at Miles if they’ll sell there. When I called they told me to go to Mereta (same coop). Wall was a little cheaper when I called last around $280/ton but have to get on waiting list and have to be a previous customer to get on that list. I still have not received a call back from them for being on the list. If anyone is going to get some you better get it now and get what you need for th year. What I have heard from the gins around here is they’re only getting half or less of the cotton they got last year. Feedlots will wipe it out quick if it isn’t already contracted

Edit to my above post. Wall is now at $330/ton and it will all be gone next week so if you weren’t even on that list don’t waste your time

Payin 330 a ton! That’s crazy, might as well get protein pellets with a feed trailer. A lot less work and deer seem to like it better

Yea but nothing gets bodies back in shape like it. I also do it with a tractor and not shovels so it’s way worth it
