My question is how in the heck do you see out of the scope with all the grass in front of it?

At least it wasn't a bad one. I had a copperhead decide to settle down beside by hand while evaluating an ambush one time. I never moved that hand but my other hand was able to reach my K-bar. Poor guy lost his head.

You will see right through the grass.
