Caught a bobcat

Woke up to texts from my game camera this morning of a bobcat that looked to be caught. You can see the chain on the drag stretched out and the second pic the chain leading to the cat. Decent size male bobcat. He showed up a week ago and I decided to set traps and he finally made his loop back to this area. Bridger #3 with a 8 ft drag. He ever took the drag out of its bed.

Crap gets old. Cat wasn’t hurt until I dispatched it. Heck my dog was in one last week. She learned a quick lesson to stay around the house and don’t wonder off.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it looked like the jaws were laminated and had a good full paw catch. I’d say that was just the right trap for the job.

Polyfill instead of using wax paper. I have been having less coons scratch at the pan with the polyfill.
