Default Busy Weekend

and unfortunately it was not associated with hunting. Back in November, wife and daughter decided to buy a house in a foreclosure auction. They did and I did my part in serving the owner with a 3-day notice to vacate the premises. They did not leave, and once we had the deed in hand, I again served the owner, and they still didn't leave. Went to court and had the judge order her to vacate by January 7th. On the 8th, they were starting to pack. I spoke to the man at the house and gave him a couple of extra days. Apparently they hauled off, as he put it, in a large U-Haul as well as several trucks and trailers.

I would venture to say we trashed several thousands of dollars worth of canned goods, all with expiration dates between 2004 and 2017, and well over 300 prescription bottles of meds the owner had filled by Veteran Affairs Hospitals. I tried to give the meds to the man Saturday but he said he doesn't need these meds. I asked him why he continued to have these filled and he said because he wants to have it. The only meds I could tell he took on a regular basis was Viagra because of the 20 or so empty bottles. Oh, he did have some meds for the CLAP as well.

What a waste of taxpayer's money.

This weekend, we filled 3 20' dumpsters, and will have the fourth delivered tomorrow. I don't see how in the world people live this way.

Looks like an earthquake hit there...maybe the house was just shaking from the consumption of 20 bottles of Viagra! LOL

The poop pillow in the center of the last pic is kind of funny. Kind of the cherry on top.

I do this for a living. It’s commonplace especially in states with more liberal eviction laws.

I would strike a match and start over.

Slob is slob, regardless of mental condition. Just my opinion.

Mental problems plague some of our vets, either service connected or not. But now hes probably mentally sick and living under a bridge somewhere. I tend to run into these folks when out fishing. Hell, a few of them setup camp in tents in downtown Boerne under the bridge on the creek.

Sadly, with mental issues, they don't even recognize that as a mess or even that it's wrong.

.....and God Bless America.

Jeez... That's horrible. So there was a large uhaul and several trucks worth of more stuff in there previously?

I saw an interesting storage facility New Year's promo the other day. "Hoarders: First Month Free" That's like a bar advertising a free first beer for alcoholics.

He has an apartment, but he has taken a bunch of stuff over there now, according to his brother, and it is getting this way.

I had a neighbor next door for a couple of years that was like this. Single woman with 2 young kids. Her yard began to fill up from the excess over flow from the house being full! I had been hearing from other kids in the neighborhood that played with these kids on how nasty and trashed the house was. After she finally moved the house was so torn up that the new owners had it gutted and rebuilt! 3 years prior to that family moving in the original owner had spent $20,000 to renovate the house when she inherited it from her parents. She was killed by a drunk driver 1 month after moving in after refurbishing the place. It is a sad story for that place.
