I’d cut it man. It’s not rare. It’s not a rare caliber. It’s just a nice rifle. Only caveat is if it’s stainless and walnut. They bring a premium.

I’d cut it, but like mentioned above, it may not be thick enough to thread and have any kind of shoulder.

I wouldn't cut it. There are plenty of affordable short barreled .308s that come already threaded and ready for a suppressor. Sell it to someone who likes Winchester m 70's and buy one of 'em.
