Only a week away from the day. So I started my list of stuff I’d forget if I don’t write them down right when I think about them.

To pack:

Clamp on stand (for last minute ambush as needed)
Air compressor (to fix tire on skid steer)
De walt & charger
Flashlight & charger
Sockets (also for tire)
Go pro

Still adding things through out the week. What do y’all have

We have a combo lock. However, I have a set of keys that stay in my truck with the key to toolbox, spare house key, and pad lock on rtic cooler. If we had a lease gate key it would for sure be on the key ring that stays in the truck!

I try not to forget that hunting is fun even if you rarely see a deer from the stand.

If you have low expectations you are rarely disappointed.

Spare key tied to a tree with #9 wire in an undisclosed location works great. Current place has a combo thankfully

I hear ya. Had a cousin years ago got all amped up one morning to go rifle hunting and got all the way to his parking spot to realize he left his rifle at his house

Bow season started here in Minnesota last week, in hunt a spot close to home, first night out was laughable.

I Try and never leave without a 3 ton chain-fall, snatch blocks, chain, tow straps, shackles, and leather gloves. There's Nothing worse than being stuck up to your door with no tools, and nobody is available or willing to help. First thing I did several years back was go and buy the above tools and have a winch on my truck. I've seen a 3 ton chain-fall pull out lifted trucks backwards if you can't go forward with your winch. It's a longer process, but it works!

I always buckle my release around my grip.
I do this after I forgot my release on one hunt .
