Warriors have an affinity for war. Trump wants to pull out of Syria. Mattis disagrees.

You would think people who lean left would be happy, but instead, they will say it's a mess. Go figure.

I guess that's one way to look at it. I had not gotten that take from the multiple panels on every channel. But when a president dont visit with the defense secretary he chose obviously there are much bigger issues than war. When he was announced for that role it was "mana from heaven" including from me.

Have you ever gotten a positive take from multiple panels on any channel when it comes to what's going on with Trump?

War Pigs, Brown nosed Officers, Investors, Politicians, and Defense Contractors have an “affinity” for war...
THATS IT

IF THEY FUND THE WALL, THEN SHAKING THEIR PIGGY BANK WAS A BRILLIANT MOVE ON HIS PART. They stand to loose a lot more than 5.7 Billion and it leaves petroleum assets unprotected.

It also leaves Hillary’s ISIS to the Russians.

Wow, just learned on Smithsonian Channel that the new FORD Class aircraft carriers cost $14 billion each. Only one is completed.....bad late to boot. 1 in production about 70% complete. 3 more on order.
Yep, $5 billion is pretty nominal as the defense contractors are living large! God Bless America, we can spend it faster than the taxes can be collected!!!

Yeah, and everytime a contractor changes a design or drills a hole to nowhere (I kid you not) we get into the cost overruns.

As much "defending" as Trump and Fox News has to do against the Impeach Trump at any cost Conspirators, it may not be a bad move.

Level headed. Stern. Military professionalism. And, one (if not the only) of Trumps cabinet that has had bipartisan support.

I think he could have a real good chance at the presidency IF he could get the Republican party nomination.

I don’t know everything but I was present and know the ONLY man to ever survive a direct hit to the head by a Tomahawk cruise missle. He now works for the DOE in Vegas. I was part of weapons development at the time around 1986.

Ridiculous. Some defense contractor is always trying to figure out how to get into the the piggy bank. Why don’t they figure out how to stop VBIED’s? Whole lot of fellas rolling around the Houston VA hospital that could have benefited from that. Makes me .

Default Mad Dog Mattis......OUCH!

The big O didn’t pull all troops out of anything middle eastern. And realistically we will still have boots on the ground in Syria. Just not conventional troops. I do think talking pull out is a bad idea in this circumstance though. And it was a bad idea to claim ISIS is defeated.

And if we’re talking about pulling out. The baby has already been born. Now we gotta watch it grow. And it will keep growing. Long after Trump is gone.

Not really strange at all considering he was head of Central Command during the drawdown in Iraq. He couldn't quit, and he sure as hell couldn't publicly criticize his commanding officer.

Also, consider that Obama later fired him from that position, which I'd wager led him to retire. I see no love lost there.

Now Trump is saying Matt is was actually fired because he didn't do a good enough job.

Can you actually trust a guy that sheets on every person that has ever worked for him?
When they are employed by him they are the best ever
But soon as they leave they are the dumbest and laziest SOBs known to man.
