Default Is McFaddin Wildlife National refuge closed?

Is McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge closed down because of partial shutdown? Just curious?

Idk but I know friday my buddy called and got a paid pond at anahuac nwr for tomorrow.

Well I just tried calling 409-267-3337(contact number google gave me) and the man was from ANWR. He didnt know anything about mcfaddin but did say that the areas that have to be monitored for hunting such as the paid ponds are no longer open for anahuac. He did say the areas that no one has to monitor is still open on ANWR. I dont know if this helps but by talking to him looks like you could still hunt Middleton. I could point you in the right direction if you need it.
